Baden-Powell Activity Centre has multiple conference rooms, providing the perfect location for your corporate training, conference or team building event. Each conference room can be arranged to accommodate for activities including executive planning sessions and board meetings, team building, training for staff, group retreats and business seminars. All of our meeting spaces can be tailored to your layout requirements.

Activities

Activities provided can range from classic team-building exercises like orienteering and an urban adventure to more adrenaline activities like crate stacking and the leap of faith. We have an extensive list which you can pick and choose from depending on your requirements.

Accommodation

If you plan to stay for a night or extend your trip even further, you’ll have the option of pitching your tent on our camping grounds where you’ll learn the ancient craft of camping. If camping doesn’t excite you, rest up in a bunk room-style cabin with an adjoined shower and toilet.

Catering

Choose between catering and self-catered options to suit your program. Our kitchen facilities provide you with multiple appliances to cook up a storm. If cooking isn’t your strong suit, just sit back and relax. Our caterers will happily prepare delicious meals for your team!

Meeting Spaces

Our meeting spaces provide the perfect corporate set-up for your retreat or meeting.

Lyon Barton Hall

The Lyon Barton Hall is the Centre’s largest conference room, seating up to 200 people in a theatre-style setting, whiteboards, screens and a flip chart are available.

John Hill Training Centre

John Hill Training Centre consists of the main conference room, which can be divided into four smaller breakout rooms or two larger rooms. With a fully ducted air conditioner, toilets and kitchen this is the ideal training venue for any group.

Pax Hill

One of the original buildings on site, Pax Hill exudes charm and character. The conference room is suitable for approximately 45 people and has been used for conferences, band camps and wedding receptions. The conference room has air conditioning, a great open fireplace and a large covered verandah.

The Scout Hall

This Scout Hall is an ideal meeting or conference space for approximately 50 people and is equipped with a whiteboard and kitchenette.
