Baden-Powell Activity Centre has a range of multi-purpose indoor spaces ideal for school camps, community group weekends, corporate conferences, team building sessions and even weddings! Whether you need one large hall or a set of smaller rooms, our meeting spaces can be configured to suit your event needs.
Our Meeting Spaces
Lyon Barton Hall
The Lyon Barton Hall is our largest conference room and can seat up to 200 people theatre-style or can be arranged with tables and chairs for dinners and other functions. It has a small kitchenette attached, whiteboards and flip chart stands are also available.
John Hill Training Centre
The John Hill Training Centre is ideal for groups of up to 50 people. It features one main conference room and two additional rooms which can be divided to create four smaller rooms – perfect for break out sessions. With fully ducted air conditioning, access to toilet facilities and an in-house kitchen, it is a perfect venue for team building days or off-site meetings.
Pax Hill Conference Area
As one of the original buildings on site, Pax Hill exudes charm and character reminiscent of the 1920s. It is one of our smaller facilities onsite, catering for groups of up to 45 people. The meeting space is equipped with air conditioning, a large open fireplace and covered veranda, suitable for meetings all year round.
The Scout Hall
The Scout Hall caters for groups of up to 50 people. It has a small kitchenette and a whiteboard for presentations and team brainstorming.
Other Indoor Spaces
The Centre Kitchens
Adjoined to Lyon Barton Hall, the Centre Kitchen seats up to 120 people, making it an ideal space for groups to self-cater and enjoy meals. The kitchen is equipped with a refrigerator, stove, sink, crockery, cutlery, glassware and cooking utensils.
The Parade Ground
The Parade Ground is situated in the middle of the Centre grounds and provides space for groups of up to 200 people to meet, hold activities or eat outside.
